People sometimes asked me about the inspiration for a particular painting.  As an artist I was always at a loss of words; for how does one describe creativity and emotion?  One day, I started reading the poetry poster-framed on the rail downtown.  A daily habit quickly became a curiosity and soon I discovered writing poetry was an instinctive, natural outlet. 

To me, poetry and painting are a metaphor for capturing the pure essence of reality or challenging one's biased perspective of it.  My poems and paintings are personal, interchangeable forms of expression to the senses.
